100 Days of Wonder -#80
I’m watching Sports Personality of the Year. I’m not hugely focused on it though. Instead I’m thinking about my upcoming challenge. We fly out in three weeks and then we will be pretty much straight into the challenge.
Am I ready? Nope. But at the Disney runs I have previously seen others do the impossible and I have done the impossible. I learned to respect the distances but not fear them. I learned that running can be fun and I learned a lot about the mental game of running. In 2016 I hated, like nearly gave up hated, the section through ESPN World of Sport. So in 2019 I decided I would enjoy that section. I just decided. And it worked. So I’m deciding now that I’m going to go out there and enjoy it all. And if I don’t get round then so be it – but I will try and I will enjoy trying

100 Days of Wonder – 79

I haven’t written about music so far. We are both still full of cold so we curled up on the sofa and watched a documentary about John Williams the composer. Turns out that he wrote to score to pretty much every iconic film of my life. So while not Disney as such there’s enough of a link to share this picture with you. Listening to the music made me smile, remembering the films made me smile and then thinking about walking around Hollywood Studios in less than a month made me smile!
100 Days of Wonder – #78

Happy 3rd Sunday of Advent. I have added the Hollywood Studios Christmas tree to the Magic Kingdom and Wilderness Lodge ones. This one’s not my photo but a Disney stock photo that came as part of one of our photo pass downloads.
I am spending today mostly curled up under a blanket with cats for company. I have this stupid cold but I also have our tree full of stories to recall and smile about, mince pies to eat and whole load of Disney TV, old and new, to get lost in. I hope you have a restful and peaceful Sunday too
